01. 1. This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual/Physical) Mode.
2. Heard learned counsel for the parties.
3. The Petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition
with the following prayer: -
“The petitioner therefore humble prays that the Hon’ble Court may be graciously pleased to admit this case, issue notice to opposite parties for show cause and after hearing both the sides may be pleased to issue a writ of Mandamus/certiorari by directing the opposite parties particularly to O.P. No.4 i.e. Controller of Accounts to release the Regular Pension with arrear w.e.f. 31.03.2023 i.e. from the date of retirement with all retirement benefits as per office Letter No.667 dated 16.01.2025 of DEO, Balasore to Controller of Accounts vide Annexure-12 with cost.
Further be pleased to direct the Controller of Accounts i.e. O.P. No.4 to finalize the representation vide Annexure-13 within a stipulated period.
Further be pleased to pass such other(s)/ direction which this Hon’ble Court thinks fit and proper to this case.”

Learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that through highlighting his grievances, the petitioner has filed a representation vide Annexure-13 to the Writ Petition, but till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background, he prays that a direction be issued to opposite party No.4 to take a decision on the above noted petition within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs opposite party No.4 to take a decision on the above noted representation in accordance with law taking into account the compliance available under Annexure-12, within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner.
6. The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly.
