The petition essentially seeks staying the departmental proceedings till the conclusion of criminal trial. Learned counsel for the petitioner, however during the course of hearing, admitted that regular departmental inquiry stands concluded and a show cause notice has been issued to the petitioner based upon the inquiry report. 1Whether reporters of print and electronic media may be allowed to see the order? Yes. 2 2. The submissions made by learned counsel for impugning the legality of the aforesaid show cause notice are not borne out from the pleadings. Faced with this, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the writ petition with liberty to file afresh in accordance with law. Prayer is accepted.
