2. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Ratu P.S. Case No. 17 of 2025, registered for the alleged offence under Section 274, 275, 318(4), 338, 336(3), 340(2), 61(2), 3(5) of the BNS Act, Section 47(a), 47(e) & Section 55 of Excise Act, pending in the court of learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Ranchi.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the alleged liquor in question has been recovered from house of one Ishwar Saw who happens to be the brother-in- law of the present petitioner. He further submits that nothing has been recovered from the possession of this petitioner and one Ishwar Saw has already been granted anticipatory by the co-ordinate bench of this Court in ABA No. 1602 of 2025 vide
order dated 11.03.2025.

Learned counsel opposes the prayer and submits that the involvement of this petitioner has been found.

Considering the fact that from the possession of co-accused the alleged liquor in question was recovered, who has been granted anticipatory bail by the co-ordinate bench of this Court in ABA No. 1602 of 2025, I am inclined to allow the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the petitioner- above named is hereby
directed to surrender before the learned court within four weeks from today, and in the event of his surrender/arrest, the petitioner, above named, shall be released on bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand), with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Ranchi in connection with Ratu P.S. Case No. 17 of 2025, subject to the conditions as laid down under section 482(2) of the Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.
