The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Pratappur P.S. Case No. 51 of 2022, for the offence registered under Sections 392/34 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Chatra. On 22.04.2022 at about 7:00 p.m, the informant was waylaid by four persons while he was on the way to Barhi Bigha. The accused persons looted Rs. 10,340/- from him alongwith his mobile phone. It was submitted that petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. It was further submitted that nothing incriminating has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. Learned A.P.P on behalf of the State has opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that petitioner has been remanded from another case, in which, he has confessed his involvement in the present case. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Chatra, in connection with Pratappur P.S.
