Ms. Chowdhury, learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant had been granted the privilege of interim pre-arrest bail, vide order dated 16.12.2024, and pursuant to the said order, he has appeared before the I.O. and his statement has also been recorded. Ms. Chouwdhury further submits that the I.O. has already completed investigation and submitted charge-sheet before the learned JMFC, Karbi Anglong, Diphu, and in that view of the matter, it is submitted that this application may be closed by directing the applicant to appear before the learned trial Court and to apply for regular bail and to extend the interim protection till his appearance before the learned trial Court. 3. Mr. Goswami, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor also submits that this application may be closed by granting liberty to the applicant to approach the learned trial Court since charge-sheet has been submitted here in this case after completion of investigation. 4. Taking note of the submissions of learned Advocates of both the parties, this Court is inclined to dispose of this application by directing the applicant to appear before the learned trial Court on 06.02.2025 and to apply for regular bail, and in the event of filing such an application, the learned trial Court shall consider the same in accordance with law. 5. Till then, the interim protection granted to the applicant, vide order dated 16.12.2024, stands extended. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
