ELEVATED AS JUDGE The Court made the following order: The contempt case is filed complaining of violation of the order dated 26.09.2014 in W.P.No.29294 of 2014. 2. The above writ petition is filed to declare the action of the respondents in not paying the arrears of salary to the petitioner from 11.07.2008 to 31.03.2014, as arbitrary and illegal. 3. The said writ petition was disposed of on 26.09.2014, directing the respondents to consider the representation dated 18.05.2012 made by the petitioner, for payment of arrears of salary and increments for the period from 11.07.2008 to 31.03.2014. 4. In the affidavit filed in support of the contempt case, it was pleaded that the respondents failed to consider the petitioner’s representation and thereby failed to comply with the order passed in the above writ petition. 5. Today, when the matter is listed, learned counsel for respondent No.5 submitted the proceedings dated 31.12.2015 issued by respondent No.5 on the petitioner’s representation, in pursuance of the order dated 26.09.2014 in W.P.No.29294 of 2014, whereby the petitioner’s claim was rejected. 6. Given the above proceedings, since the petitioner’s representation was considered, though some delay occurred, in the considered opinion of this court, the respondents did not violate the order dated 26.09.2014 in W.P.No.29294 of 2014. 7. Therefore, this contempt case is closed. No costs.
