Limited grievance of the petitioners in the present petition is for a direction to the respondent authorities to decide the pending representations of the petitioners dated 09.10.2024, 22.11.2024, 06.01.2025, and 19.03.2025, within a reasonable period in objective manner, and he prays for the following reliefs: Wps 4601 of 2025 2 “10.1 That, the Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent authorities concerned to decide the representation of the petitioner dated 06.01.2025, 19.03.2025, 09.10.2024 and 22.11.2024 (Annexure P/5) in a time bound manner. 10.2 That, the Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased todirect the respondent authorities concerned to consider the case of the petitioner for appointment to the post of sub-engineer (Civil) pursuant to advertisement dated 17.02.2022 annexure P/1. 10.3 Any other relief, deem fit in the present facts and circumstances of this case may also be awarded to the petitioner.” 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that petitioners have participated in the selection process of Sub-Engineer (Civil) against the advertisement issued on 02.12.2021, for which, written examination was conducted by the VYAPAM (Vyavsayik Pariksha Mandal), Raipur, CG, and a Select list was published on 08.05.2023, in which total 352 candidates have been selected. Since some of the candidates who got selected to the post of Assistant Engineer have resigned from the post of Sub-Engineer, and certain vacancies of Sub-Engineer (Civil) have been accrued. Along with the Select list, Waiting list dated 08.08.2023 has also been published by the VYAPAM, in which petitioners’ are there under their respective categories. The petitioners are claiming that since under the same advertisement posts are still vacant, their names may be considered for appointment on the post of Sub-Engineer (Civil), which would be taken from the Waiting list candidates, for which they have moved various representations to the concerned authorities but their representations have not been considered till date. Therefore, he prays for a direction to the authorities concerned to consider and decide their pending representations within a reasonable period. Wps 4601 of 2025 3 3. Learned counsel for the State while objecting the merits of the case, would submit that if any direction is being made to the respondent authorities to consider and decide the pending representations of the petitioners, within a stipulated period, he would have no objection. 4. Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the material available on record. 5. Considering the limited grievance of the petitioners in the present petition with respect to the direction to respondent authorities to consider their representations dated 09.10.2024, 22.11.2024, 06.01.2025, and 19.03.2025 within a stipulated period, without going into merits of the case, respondent-2 is directed to take a decision on the above representations made by the petitioners in an objective manner, in accordance with law within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 6. Petitioners are directed to submit copy of this order before the authorities concerned within two weeks from today. 7.
