The sole grievance of the petitioners is that he has not been paid compensation in pursuance of the award dated 27.01.2024 passed by Competent Authority under the provisions of the National Highways Act, 1956. The representation filed by the petitioners is stated to be pending. 3. The PWD- NH Division in whose favour acquisition has been made has taken the stand that the petitioners can approach the Competent Authority for withdrawal of the compensation amount and in case they are not satisfied by the amount awarded they may avail the remedy of Arbitration provided under the Act. 4. Having regard to the submissions made, we dispose of the instant petition with liberty to the petitioners to approach the Competent Authority for withdrawal of the compensation amount and if they are aggrieved by the amount awarded as compensation, it shall be open to them to avail the remedies provide in this regard under the Act.
