This is an application under Section 482 of the BNSS, 2023 praying for grant of pre-arrest bail Page No.# 2/2 to the petitioner, Sri Tak BDR Thapa @ Tak Bahadur Thapa @ Parsuram Thapa, in connection with Margherita P.S. Case No. 157/2024 registered under Sections 126(2)/115(2)/310(2) of the BNS, 2023. 3. Mr. Kaushik, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam has submitted that pursuant to the interim order granted by this Court on 18.12.2024, the petitioner has appeared before the Investigating Officer and has got his statement recorded. 4. I have considered the submissions made by the learned counsels for both sides. 5. Since the petitioner has co-operated with Police Investigating Officer, he does not deserve to be detained in custody. Therefore, his pre-arrest bail application is allowed. 6. The interim bail granted in favour of the petitioner by this Court on 18.12.2024 is made absolute. 7. The pre-arrest bail application is disposed of. 8. Case diary shall be returned.
