The petitioner, namely, Debakanta Hazarika @ Deboram Hazarika, son of Paka Hazarika, resident of Village-Garahmara Chapori, Koibarta Gaon, Silapathar, Police Station-Silapathar, District-Dhemaji has filed this application on 12.12.2024 under Section 483 BNSS, 2023 seeking bail in Silapathar Police Station Case No. 217/2024 corresponding to G.R. No.510/2024(SLP) registered under Section 65(1) BNS, read with Section 6 of the POCSO Act, 2012, in which he was arrested on 13.11.2024 and in custody since then. 3. During the deliberation of the matter, Mr. B. Sarma, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam on instruction, submitted that police after completion of investigation of the case has already submitted the charge-sheet in said Silapathar P.S. Case No. 217/2024 vide Charge-Sheet No. 202/2024 dated 31.12.2024. 4. In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to approach the appropriate forum/authority for his regular bail in said Silapathar P.S. Case No. 217/2024. 5.
