Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents. 2. The present writ petition has been filed for the following reliefs: "a) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding upon the respondents to pay Dearness Allowance (DA) to the petitioner for the period from January 2006 to 12 August, 2015 with exemplary interest, b) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding upon the respondents to consider and decide the petitioner's claim/representation dated 04.01.2020 within stipulated time as directed by this Hon'ble Court" 3. Submission is that the petitioner was appointed in the year 1991. He was given minimum pay scale from 2006 to 2015. Subsequently, his services were regularized but similarly placed persons were granted minimum pay scale along with dearness allowance and the same is denied to the petitioner. Therefore, he made oral request and also made representation on 04.01.2020. Despite his request, the respondent - authorities have not considered the said representation and passed any order so far. 4. Considering the submissions and without going into merits of the case, the 2nd respondent is directed to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 04.01.2020 and take appropriate decision and communicate the same to the petitioner within a period of two months from the date of receipt of the copy of this order. 5.
