In the instant petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner has sought the following reliefs:- 2 WP (C) No. 442/2025 “i. issuance of appropriate writ, order or direction, directing the respondent no. 3 & 4 for granting One Time Financial Assistance of Rs. 5.50 Lakh to the petitioner under the Prime Minister's Development Package 2015 for Jammu and Kashmir for the Rehabilitation of Displaced Families of Pakistan Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (POKJ 1947) and Chhamb area (1965 & 797) formulated and extended by communication no. 15030/99/2020-J&K dated 14.03.24 issued by respondent No. 1. ii. Any other further relief which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case.” 2. After arguing for a while, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would feel satisfied in case, the respondents are directed to treat the instant writ petition as representation and to accord consideration to the same with some reasonable time. 3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner at length and perused the record. 4. Issue notice. 5. Mr. Vishal Sharma, learned DSGI waives notice on behalf of respondent No. 1 and Ms. Sagira Jaffer, Assisting counsel to Mrs. Monika Kohli, Sr. AAG on behalf of respondent Nos. 2 to 4. They submit that the respondents have no objection, if the instant writ petition is directed to be treated as representation and same is accorded consideration strictly in accordance with the rules and as per law. 6. With the consent of learned counsel for the parties and keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case, the instant writ petition is disposed of, at the threshold, with a direction to the 3 WP (C) No. 442/2025 respondents to consider the claim of the petitioner by treating this writ petition as representation and take a decision thereon strictly under rules and as per law and pass a consideration order within a period of six weeks from the date, a certified copy of this order along with complete set of writ petition are made available to the respondents. It is also made clear that in case, the petitioner intends to file any other material before the respondents, the same can be filed within aforesaid period along with the instant writ petition. The order of consideration, which is likely to be passed, be forwarded to the petitioner through registered post. 7. Writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of along with connected application.
