JUSTICE WASIM SADIQ NARGAL, JUDGE ORDER 01.04.2026 Record reveals that the matter was adjourned on 17.02.2025 at the request of learned counsel for the appellant. Thereafter, an adjournment motion was again moved on behalf of the appellant, pursuant to which the matter came to be adjourned on 20.08.2025. Subsequently, on 04.11.2025, learned counsel for the appellant sought further time of two weeks to ascertain whether the appellant wants to pursue the instant appeal and, accordingly, the matter was listed on 25.02.2026. On the said date, once again, a request for adjournment was made by Mr. Toquir Mustafa, Advocate, appearing on behalf of Mr. M.A. Goni, Senior Advocate. Reluctantly, the matter was adjourned on 25.02.2026 with the rider that no further adjournment shall be granted on any count whatsoever on the next date of hearing. Today, when the matter was taken up, yet another request for adjournment was made, which is declined. It is also noted that the order dated 04.11.2025 passed by this Court has not been complied with. In these circumstances, it can safely be interred that the appellant is not interested in prosecuting the matter or complying with the orders passed by this Court from time to time.
