Mrs.S.Anitha, learned Special Government Pleader, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2 and Mr.S.Balaji, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), accepts notice on behalf of the 3rd respondent. In view of the consent expressed by the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 3. The case of the petitioner is that he is doing cracker supply business. He also annually set up a temporary cracker retail shop during Deepavali festival, thereby, he entered into a rental agreement dated 20.09.2025 with the owner of the shop situated at No.87/36, Red Hills Page No.2 of 6 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P.No.38969 of 2025 Roads, Vinayagapuram, Madhavaram, Chennai – 600 099. Thereafter, he filed an application dated 02.10.2025 before the 1st respondent seeking issuance of temporary fire cracker license for the sale of crackers under the LE-5 category. Since the same was not considered, the petitioner has filed this writ petition before this Court for appropriate orders. 4. Though very many grounds have been raised in this writ petition, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that, it would suffice, if this Court issues a direction to the 1st respondent to issue temporary fire cracker (LE-5) license to the petitioner, by considering his application, dated 02.10.2025, within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court. 5. In view of the limited request sought for by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 02.10.2025, on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders, within a period of one (1) week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner and aggrieved persons, if Page No.3 of 6 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P.No.38969 of 2025 any. 6.
