The petitioner alleges that the 3rd respondent has forged her birth certificate, claiming to be the daughter of the petitioner, which is not a fact. The petitioner lodged a complaint before the police authority which has been registered as FIR and investigation is in progress. The petitioner seeks proper investigation of the complaint. Learned counsel for the private respondents denies and disputes the allegation made by the petitioner and submits that the private respondents possess all the relevant documents in support of their claim. Learned counsel for the State submits that investigation is in progress. 2 In view of the above, this Court directs the investigating officer to conduct a fair, proper and impartial investigation and take the same to its logical conclusion in accordance with law. The parties are at liberty to produce relevant documents before the investigating officer which shall assist the investigation. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall, however, be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted.
