According to the petitioner, his father had availed a Kisan Credit Card (KCC) crop loan under Account No.140032000000005 to the tune of Rs.90,000/-, and also availed an agricultural jewel loan under Account No. 140032028002308 by pledging jewels weighing about 46 grams on 09.11.2018 to the tune of Rs.81,000/- from the first respondent bank. The petitioner's father passed away on 28.04.2020 without repaying the said loans. The petitioner thereafter repaid the entire amount due under the jewel loan, along with interest, on 21.09.2020. Thereafter, he requested the respondent bank to return the pledged jewels in their possession. However, the respondent bank refused to return the same. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition. 3. It is seen that, since there are other legal heirs, the respondent bank has refused to return the jewels. In view of the above, this Court is of the view that the petitioner shall work out his remedy in the said suit. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed.
