Laskar, learned counsel for the petitioners and Ms. I. Das, learned counsel appearing on behalf of Mr. D. Upamainya, learned Standing Counsel, Health Department who represents the respondent Nos. 5 and 6. [2.] The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that by filing this writ petition, the petitioners have sought for a direction to the respondent authorities to reimburse the medical expenditure incurred by the petitioners amounting to Page No.# 3/3 Rs.1,43,575/- (Rupees One Lakh Forty Three Thousand Five Hundred Seventy Five) only. [3.] Mr. S. Das, learned Standing Counsel, Higher Education Department submits that the said amount has already been sanctioned by the Government and the Under Secretary to the Govt. of Assam, Higher Education Department has written to the Principal Accountant General (A&E) Assam on 18.07.2025 to debit the amount in the bank account of the petitioner. In support of his submission the learned counsel has produced the Communication dated 18.07.2025. Upon perusal of the same, it appears that the grievance of the petitioner has been met with by the respondents and accordingly the writ petition stands disposed of. [4.] The amount so sanctioned for payment be debited to the bank account of the petitioner as expeditious as possible and preferably within a period of 6(six) weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. [5.] Petitioner is given liberty to serve a copy of this order to the Principal, Accountant General, (A&E) Assam. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
