[2025:RJ-JP:28417] HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE FOR RAJASTHAN BENCH AT JAIPUR S.B. Civil Writ Petition No.9462/2025 Mahaveer Prasad Raigar S/o Shri Jamna Lal Raigar, Aged About 36 Years, R/o Raigaran Basti, Ward No. 14, Mangrol, District Baran, Rajasthan. ----Petitioner Versus 1. The State Of Rajasthan, Through Principal Secretary, Finance (Insurance) Department, Secretariat, Jaipur. 2. The Director, State Insurance And Provident Fund Department, Rajasthan, Jaipur. 3. The Project Director, Chief Minster Ayushman Accident Insurance Scheme, Room No. 55, Beema Bhawan, Sawai Jaisingh Highway, Banipark, Jaipur. ----Respondents For Petitioner(s) : Mr. Ajit Kaswa JUSTICE ANOOP KUMAR DHAND Order 28/07/2025 1. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that on account of falling from height, the deceased expired thereafter and his dependents submitted an appeal seeking compensation under the Chief Minister Ayushman Accident Insurance Scheme. Learned counsel submits that the said claim submitted by the petitioner was rejected on 07.03.2024 against which an appeal has been preferred by the petitioner before the Director, State Insurance and Provident Fund Department well within the stipulated time, but inspite of passing of considerable time, till date the said appeal has not been decided, so appropriate directions be issued to the Appellate Authority to decide the appeal expeditiously. [2025:RJ-JP:28417] (2 of 2) [CW-9462/2025] 2. Considering the limited prayer made by counsel for the petitioner and looking to the fact that the appeal preferred against the impugned order dated 07.03.2024 is lying pending for its adjudication on its merits before the Director, State Insurance and Provident Fund and the same has not been decided inspite of passing considerable time. 3. In view of above factual aspect of the matter, this Court deems it just and proper to dispose of the instant writ petition by issuing directions to the Director, State Insurance and Provident Fund to decide the appeal expeditiously as early as possible preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. 4. All pending applications (if any) also stand disposed of. (ANOOP KUMAR DHAND),J Karan/70
