ORDER:
This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking to quash the proceedings in FIR.No.241 of 2021, on the file of Kukunoor Police Station, West Godavari District.
2. When the petition came up for hearing on 02.09.2021, this Court has passed the following order:
“Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case and the seriousness of the allegations and offence, this Court is of the considered view that investigation shall go on and the same cannot be interdicted.”
3. Today when the petition is taken up for hearing, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor on oral instructions has informed this Court that in view of the order passed by this Court on 02.09.2021, the Police have proceeded with the investigation, but, till date, no charge sheet has been filed and requested time to file the same.
4. In view of the fact that the investigation in the present case was not stalled by this Court and as no charge sheet has been filed till date, the Police are directed to file a charge sheet in the present petition after completion of the investigation and as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this
order. Till such time, the Police are directed not to take any coercive steps against the petitioner.
5. Accordingly, this criminal petition is disposed of.
Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, in the Criminal Petition, shall stand closed. ____________________
