Neutral Citation No. - 2025:AHC:75955 IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT ALLAHABAD (Sl. No.169) Court No. - 53 Case :- WRIT - C No. - 5355 of 2025 Petitioner :- Kadedeen Respondent :- State Of U.P. And 2 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Shiv Naresh Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C.,Sakshi Patel Hon'ble Anish Kumar Gupta,J. 1. Heard Sri Shiv Naresh, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Vijay Pratap Singh, learned Standing Counsel for the State. 2. The instant petition has been filed with the following prayer: "Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no.2 to decide the Case No. D2014166700164 (State vs. Negi and others), under Section 198 Z.A. & L.R. Act, Police Station-Suriyanwa, District Bhadohi within stipulated period fixed by this Hoble Court." 3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the said case is pending since about 20 years and has not yet been concluded. In support of the submission, he has enclosed the order sheet of the case. Therefore, he seeks a direction for expeditious disposal of the said case as the same is pending since about 20 years. 4. From perusal of the order sheet, it appears that in most of the times, the case is being adjourned due to non-cooperation and non-appearance of the advocates in the proceedings and that there was continuously abstinence by the advocates from work and proceedings of the case. 5. Thus no positive direction can be issued for disposal of the said case. 6. However, looking at the pendency of the said case, it is expected that the case shall be decided expeditiously. 7. With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition is disposed of. Order Date :- 9.5.2025 Ashish Pd. (Anish Kumar Gupta,J.) Digitally signed by :- ASHISH PRASAD High Court of Judicature at Allahabad
