Ariful Islam, son of Joynuddin Ali, resident of village Mohghuli Borgola, Police Station-North Lakhimpur, District-Lakhimpur has filed this application under Section 483 BNSS, 2023 seeking bail in North Lakhimpur Police Station Case No. 351/2024, registered under Sections 365/ 376(2)(n)/ 341/ 506/ 447/ 427 of the IPC read with Section 6 of the POCSO Act, 2012 corresponding to G.R. No. 927/2024, wherein, he was arrested on 17.11.2024 and is in custody since then. 3) During the deliberation of the matter, Mr. B Sarma, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam, on instruction, submitted that police after completion of investigation of the case has already submitted charge-sheet in said North Lakhimpur P.S. Case No. 351/2024 on 30.12.2024 vide charge-sheet No. 297/2024. 4) As such, the petitioner is directed to approach the appropriate forum for his regular bail in said North Lakhimpur P.S.
