The learned G.A., submitted that the present writ petition has been filed assailing the order dated 22.03.2018 effecting transfer and posting of private respondent No. 3 and also praying for allowing the petitioner to hold the post of Assistant Engineer(in charge) in the Water Resource Department, Manipur. The learned G.A., further submitted that the petitioner has already retired from service on attaining the age of superannuation and as such, the issue raised in the present writ petition and the relief sought for by the petitioner has become infructuous by the efflux of time and the learned G.A. prays for closing this writ petition as infructuous. Ms. Rinika Maibam, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, endorsed the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the respondents. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the parties, the present writ petition is hereby closed as infructuous.
