The petitioner has been made accused in connection with N.D.P.S. Case No. 07 of 2025 arising out of Godda (Town) P.S. Case No.125 of 2025, for the offences registered under Sections 22/25/27A/29 of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the court of learned Principal District & Sessions Judge, Godda. On 24.06.2025 at about 7:05 P.M., Godda Town police apprehended this petitioner along with co-accused persons from the Bethal Mission School and on search, 4.51 grams brown sugar were recovered from their joint possession. It was submitted that quantum of seized brown sugar come within the purview of small quantity. Learned P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Principal District & Sessions Judge, Godda, in connection with N.D.P.S.
