JUSTICE SANDEEP KUMAR ORAL ORDER 4 27-02-2026 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned A.P.P. for the State. 2. The petitioners apprehend arrest in connection with Complaint Case No.1237C of 2023 instituted under Sections 498A, 323 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. 3. As per the prosecution case, the complainant is the wife of the son of the petitioners. It is alleged that after one month of marriage, all the accused persons started demanding dowry and upon refusal assaulted the complainant and subjected her to torture. Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.70665 of 2025(4) dt.27-02-2026 2/2 4. The petitioner no. 1 is the father-in-law and petitioner no. 2 is the mother-in-law of the complainant are living separately. 5. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are innocent and have been falsely implicated in this case. 6. Considering the fact that the petitioners are living separately, this application is allowed. 7. Accordingly, in the event of arrest or surrender before the Court below within six weeks from today, the petitioners, above named, be released on bail upon furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sub- Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Jamui/ concerned Court in connection with Complaint Case No. 1237C of 2023, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 482 of the BNSS/ 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973.
