The present petition has been filed by the petitioner under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure with the following prayer :- “It is, therefore, prayed that the Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to allow the petition by quashing the FIR, investigation, filing of challan and pendency of Cr. Case No. 74/2017 before CJM Durg between State of C.G. Vs. Kishan Kumar Rayate, is illegal and abuse the process of law, are liable to be quashed, in the interest of justice.” 3. I.A. No. 02 of 2025 is an application for withdrawal of the petition on ground that the Criminal Case registered against the petitioner has already been decided on 27.02.2025 and the petitioner has been discharged from the charges levelled against him. 4.
