Page No.# 2/2 Court of the Civil Judge, (Senior Division)-V, Aizawl in Probate Case No. 16/2024. The case of the appellants is that their grandfather, Shri. A. Rohnuna, had left behind a landed building covered by LSC No. 90/1971 located at Zarkawt. Although the deceased, Shri. A. Rohnuna, had executed a will dated 22.09.2024 distributing the properties covered by the said LSC No. 90/1971, the said will was not probated, and no heirship certificate had been obtained by any person over the said land. However, Shri. A. Rohnuna’s son, Shri. Chawngroliana, who is the father of the appellant had executed a will dated 11.08.2024, leaving the land and building covered by the said LSC No. 90/1971 to the respondent. After the death of the said Shri. Chawngroliana, the respondent applied for probate of the will dated 11.08.2023 by filing Probate Case No. 16/2024. The trial court had allowed the probate of the said will vide the impugned Order dated
20.09.2024. The appellants are the children of Shri. Chawngroliana from his first wife, Smt. Lalngaihawmi, while the respondent is the second wife. Admit the appeal. Call for the TCR. Mr. A.R. Malhotra appears for the respondent. List the matter after 4(four) weeks, on 17.02.2026.
