The family deity is housed in a temple situated on the banks of Panangulam kanmoi, Thirupparankundram. It is a temple belonging to a group of families. The petitioner has developed differences with his pangalies. The petitioner states that he is being prevented form making pongal offering and also performing the first tonsure. To facilitate him to do so, this writ petition has been filed. 3.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the private respondents entered appearance through their counsel. It is stated that Thiru.Ganesan / sixth respondent herein has been chosen as the temple poojari. The petitioner states that he will not challenge the status of Thiru.Ganesan or any other person who has been chosen as poojari. The private respondents have also expressed that they have no objection for the petitioner to come and make the customary offering. He must do it through the poojari chosen by the pangalies. 4.The petitioner states that he and his family members will be present in the temple premises on 02.11.2025 at 10.00 a.m. Thiru.Ganesan / sixth respondent should preferably be present. If he is unable to be present, any person authorised by him should be present. The said person must officiate as poojari and facilitate the petitioner to offer his customary worship. The petitioner gives an undertaking before this Court the he will extend his fullest co-operation. 5.Recording the consensus arrived at between both the parties, this writ petition is disposed of.
