This writ petition has been filed challenging the condition which have been imposed in recruitment notification dated 08.02.2021 has been violative of Article, 14, 16, 19 and 21 of the Constitution of India. A prayer is also made to direct the respondent to allow the petitioner to participate in the recruitment of Vidhyut Sahayak (Electrical Assistant) as per the recruitment notification dated 08.02.2021. 2. The respondent has filed its reply in which it is stated as follows. “At the outset, it is submitted that the present petition is not required to be entertained only on the ground that the petitioners have challenged the selection process which has been initiated by the PGVCL pursuant to the impugned Circular dated 08.02.2021. It is submitted that in pursuance C/SCA/4769/2021 ORDER DATED: 24/06/2025 to the impugned Circular dated 08.02.2021, the selection procedure was not only initiated but has also been completed. Successful candidates have been appointed and now even the selection list has also expired. Thus, the petition has become infructuous and therefore, the petition may kindly be rejected.” 3. In light of the above affidavit, since the selection process has been completed and the successful candidates have already been appointed are not impleaded in this writ petition, it is obvious that no relief can be granted to the petitioner.
