1. By this petition, petitioner is seeking initiation of contempt proceedings against the respondents for their willful/intentional disobedience in implementing the judgment dated 28.08.2024, passed by this Court in WP (C) No. 1995/2024 titled “Tirath Singh Vs. Worthy Registrar General, High Court of J & K and Ladakh & Ors.” whereby, the respondents were directed to finalize and conclude the selection process, in pursuance to advertisement notification No. PDS/RBN/786-791 dated 13.09.2022, issued by Respondent No. 2 for filing up one (1) post of Driver (Non-Gazetted) lying vacant in the Court of Principal District & Session Judge, Ramban, strictly in accordance with rules on the subject in case the process has already not been concluded.

07.04.2025 bearing No. 39/PDSJR, issued by Respondent No. 2, wherein it is stated that the petitioner, as per the merit list, is temporary being appointed as driver in the pay scale Level-2 (19900- 63200) and has also been directed to join the office of Respondent No. 2 within 15 days from the date of passing of the order (supra). Copy of the communication dated 07.04.2025 is taken on record.
3. The judgment passed by this Court stands complied with, therefore, as such there is no reason to continue with the contempt proceedings. The proceedings in the contempt petition are closed.
