Islam, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as Mr. K. K. Das, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State of Assam. 2. This is an application under Section 482 of the BNSS, 2023 praying for grant of Page No.# 2/2 pre-arrest bail to the petitioner Solebhan Bewa in respect of Gauripur P.S. Case No. 229/2024 (corresponding to GR Case No.895/2024) 3. On 01.08.2024, at about 12 noon, a 31 year old Sahebul Hoque had gone to the house of Sabed Ali. Thereafter, Sahebul Hoque disappeared. Next day his dead body was found floating in the water of Gadhadhar river. The post mortem report shows that because of drowning Sahebul Hoque died. 4. The case diary reveals that Sahebul Hoque had married the wife of another person and on that issue Sahebul Hoque had quarreled with some persons. The fight between Sahebul Hoque and other people took place in the house of Sabed Ali 5. There are no incriminating materials against the present petitioner in the case diary against the present petitioner. Therefore, her pre-arrest bail application is allowed. 6. It is hereby directed that in the event of arrest in connection with Gauripur P.S. Case No. 229/2024., the petitioner, Solebhan Bewa shall be released on bail of ₹20,000/- with a surety of like amount to the satisfaction of the arresting authority. 7. The petitioner shall appear before Investigating Officer and shall co-operate with police investigation as and when called for. 8. With the aforesaid direction, the bail application is disposed of.
