Dutta, learned counsel for the respondent No. 2, submits that in terms of the directions passed by this Court vide order, dated 25.08.2022, in WP(c)1074/2022; the discrepancy with regard to the population strength of the Gaon Panchayats involved, has been rectified and the same has also subsequently been approved by the Cabinet. The excess amount which was incorrectly transferred to the Chorgola Gaon Panchayat has also been transferred to the Cheragi Gaon Panchayat. In view of the above, Mr. K. A. Mazumder, learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that the directions as contained in the order, dated 25.08.2022, passed by this Court in WP(c)1074/2022, has since been complied with. Accordingly, the order, dated 25.08.2022, passed by this Court in WP(c)1074/2022, being complied with, the contempt petition accordingly stands closed. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
