The instant contempt petition has been preferred against the order/judgment dated 28.12.2011 passed by this Court in SWP No. 2539/2011 whereby the writ petition was disposed of directing the Deputy Commissioner, Kishtwar to dispose of the petitioner’s Appeal preferred against the selection and engagement of respondent no. 7, as Anganwadi Worker within six weeks. The instant contempt petition has been preferred for non-compliance of the aforesaid order/judgment passed by this Court. 02. Respondents inspite of availing opportunities have till date not filed the status report. Since the issue pertains to the year 2011, the learned counsel for the respondents assures this Court that the order/judgment passed by this Court will be complied with, within a period of two weeks from today in case, the same has not been complied with as on date. 03. In light of the assurance extended by the learned counsel for the respondents, no fruitful purpose will be served to keep this contempt alive and, Sr. No. 39 2 | P a g e CPSW No. 225/2012 IN SWP No. 2539/2011 accordingly, the contempt petition is disposed of by directing the respondents to decide the appeal preferred before Deputy Commissioner, Kishtwar within a period of two weeks from today.
