This Court, vide order dated 28.07.2023, passed in MCRC No. 4428 of 2023, while allowing the bail to the applicants, namely, Kashiram Soni @ Sunil Soni and Rajendra Diwedi, had expressed its trust that the trial Court should make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously KUNAL DEWANGAN Digitally signed by KUNAL DEWANGAN 2 in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of receipt of a certified copy of this order, if there was no legal impediment. 3. Earlier on two occasions also this Court had granted extension of time for compliance of the order dated 28.07.2023. 4. The learned Special Judge (NDPS Act) District-Bilaspur, (C.G.) vide his request letter dated 29.11.2024 has requested for grant of some more time for concluding the trial. 5. It transpires from perusal of the PUD, that in this case, the statement of 07 prosecution witnesses have already been recorded and the statement of only 04 witnesses are yet to be recorded. The the court concerned is continuously issuing summons/warrants to ensure the presence of witnesses. Considering the number of witnesses, it is likely to take some time for concluding the trial. Therefore, she prays for grant of further more time for concluding the trial. 6. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a further period of four months from today. 7. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed off with the aforesaid direction. 8.
