Case of the prosecution, in brief,.is that, on 10.02.2O25 at about 12.00noon', on receipt of credible information regard'lng illegal possession and transportation of ganja, the S.I of Police, along with staff and mediators rushed to Goddess Durgadevi temple, Santhathota, Kottakki village junction and. conducted vehicle checking. At that time, they found one car bearing registration number AP 28 DY 4509 (original No.DL 8 CAP 0153) coming towards Ramabhadrapuram side. On seeing police, the inmate in the car stopped the car and escaped. Then police found 147 kgs of ganja in the said vehicle. On enquiry about the absconded accused, by the police, they came to know the movements of the accused and the other accused also confessed the involvement of the petitioner/accused in the transportation of ganja. Police arrested the petitioner on 22.4.2025 and since then the petitioner is in judicial remand. 4. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Public prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondent-state. perused the record. 5. Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor submits that major part of investigation is completed except filing of charge sheet. `+`-`. -`__- E= EE[ < 4J= 3 6. A perusal of the material available on record goes tO Show that the petitioner was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 22.4.2025. police on credible information seized 147 kgs of ganja from the other accused. pursuant to the confessional statement of co-accused, the petitioner was arrested. No incriminating material has been seized from the petitioner to connect the petitioner with the crime. Basing on the confessional statement of co-accused, the petitioner has been arrested and remanded to judicial custody. 7. ln view of the aforesaid facts and Circumstances Of the Case, this court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner/A6 herein, on the following conditions. (i) The petitioner/A6 herein shall be released on his executing a personal bond for Rs.10,000/-(Rupees ten thousand only) with two sureties for a like sum each to the satisfaction of the learned I Additional District and Sessions Judge, Vizianagaram; (ii) on release, the petitioner shall appear before the Station House officer concerned once in a week i.e. on every Sunday between 10.00 a.m. and 05.00 p.m., till filing of charge sheet. 8.
