THE HONJBLE SRI JUSTICE KI SREENIVASA REDDY -,I/. ~. \` lRIMINAL PETITION NO.6305 0F 2025_ ORDER:- The Criminal Petition, -under Sections 480 & 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Sura-ksha Sanhita, 2023, is filed on behalf of the petitioners/Accused Nos,1, 3, 4 & 5 to grant bail in connection with Crime No.33 of 2025 of Nallamada Police Station, Sri Sathya Sai Distr-lct| 2) A case has been registered against the petitioners and others for the offences punishable under Sections 109(1), 49 r/w 190 of the Bharatiya Nyana Sanhita, 2023. 3) Brief facts of the case are that, about ll/2 years back, marriage of grandson of defacto-complainant, by name Anjaneyulu, was solemnized with one Anitha, who is daughter of son-in-law of the defacto complainant.
Later, disputes arose between them and the said Anjaneyulu beat his wife Anitha on one occasion and caused injuries| Keeping that in mind, on o3.04.2O25 at about 6.00 A.M., Accused Nos.1 to 5 went to the house of defacto complainant and Al abused her in filthy language, and on instigation of A2 to A5, Al hacked on the left leg thigh, left leg knee and on right leg of the defacto complair@nt and caused severe bleeding injuries. on iE ed5=
hearing the cries of the defacto complainant, the neighbours came there and all the accused ran away. The defacto complainant was shifted to Government Hospital, Kadiri. Upon report given by defacto complainant a case has been regI-Stered against the accused Persons. 4) Heard. Perused the record. 5) A perusal of the material on record goesto show that both the accused and defacto complainant are interrelated to each other, On the date of the incident, a quarrel ensued amongst them and in connection with that the accused abused the defacto complainant and hacked on the left leg thigh, left leg knee and on right leg of the complainant, resulting which she sustained wound injuries. The petitioners were arrested were arrested on 24.04.2025 and since then they are languishing in jail. It is submitted by the learned coLnsel for the petitioners that lSt petitioner is aged about I 77 years. It is submitted by the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor that major portion of investigation has been completed. ...`. ` iE i=
6) In view of the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioners/Accused Nos.1, 3, 4 and 5, on the following conditions. (i) The petitioners/Accused Nos.1, 3, 4 and 5 shall be released on each of them executing a personal bond for Rs.20,00O/- (Rupees twenty thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Kadjri| (ii) On release, the petitioners shall appear before the station House Officer concerned, once in a week i|e| on every sunday, between 10.00 a.m. and 05.00 p.m., till filing of the charge sheet. 7) Accordingly, the criminal petition is allowed.
