Heard Sri V.Vinod K Reddy, learned counsel for petitioner, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Services-! appearing for respondent Nos.1, 2 & 4 and Smt. B.V.Aparna Lakshmi, learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondent No.3. 3. Petitioner presently working as Mandal Parishad Development Officer. While, he was posted as MPDO in-charge at Udayagiri, on allegations that he has sanctioned large number of works and grounded under NREGS without proper inspection, resulting in misuse of funds, he was issued charge memo dated 31.01.2011. Petitioner submitted his explanation on 31.03.2011 refuting the allegations. So far the inquiry has not been concluded. 4. Learned counsel for petitioner places reliance on the orders passed by this Court in W.P.No. 13374 of 2019 dated 12.09.2019, which dealt with identical circumstances. 4 HCGRj ym W.P.No-15599 of 2025 ^ 5. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that dated 01.11.2008 and G.O.Ms.No.91 even as per G.O.Ms.No.679 dated 12.09.2022, respondents required to complete the disciplinary proceedings within three (3) were months in case of simple cases and six (6) months in case of complex cases. 6. Though it is almost fourteen (14) years from issuance of charge memo, the proceedings have not been concluded so far. It is clearly contrary to aforesaid time lines prescribed by the Government. Therefore, learned counsel for petitioner would urge to dispose of the writ petition by directing respondents to conclude the inquiry within a specific time frame. 7. In view of the aforesaid submissions, it would suffice to dispose of the writ petition by directing respondents to conclude the inquiry within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of the order and in case the inquiry is not concluded, proceedings against petitioner stands quashed.
