The Hon'ble Supreme Court has repeatedly held that there cannot be any direction fixing a time frame for the conclusion of the trial. Admittedly, several older cases are pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate. Hence, the direction as prayed for, seeking fixation of a time limit, cannot be granted. However, the learned Judicial Magistrate shall consider disposal of the trial as expeditiously as possible. 3.
