Issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the Respondent / IDFC First Bank Ltd to De-Freeze the savings Account of the Petitioner bearing No. 10160177731, JP Nagar 7th Phase branch, Bangalore pursuant to the requestion dated 21.02.2025 as per Annexure A. b. Pass such other direction or order as this Hon'ble court deems fit in the facts and circumstances of the case, in the interest of justice and equity." 2. Heard the learned counsel Sri.Rohan S., appearing for the petitioner and the learned counsel Sri.V.Suresh, appearing for the respondent. 3. The petitioner holds an account in the respondent - bank. The account of the petitioner comes to be frozen pursuant to the direction by certain Investigating Agencies. - 3 - NC: 2025:KHC:14756 WP No. 8876 of 2025 4. The learned counsel appearing for the bank submits that the disputed amount as communicated to the bank is Rs.1,77,483/- as on 07.03.2025. 5. In that light, I deem it appropriate to dispose the petition with the direction to the respondent - bank to mark a lien on the aforesaid disputed amount and permit operation of the account of the petitioner, as was being operated pursuant to the said freezment. 6.
