ORAL ORDER 1.Learned advocate Mr. Hriday Buch appearing for Bantwa Municipality hands over a cheque amounting to Rs. 1,61,163/- (Rupees One Lac Sixty One Thousand One Hundred and Sixty Three) to the advocate of the petitioner Mr. Hardik B. Shah as the petitioner is settled in Kerala at present. The said cheque is towards the interest of the principal amount already paid in the year 2000 as well as the interest on unpaid amount in the interregnum period till today and therefore,
C/SCA/4664/2025 ORDER DATED: 16/04/2025 now there is no grievance is remaining against any of the respondents. Still learned advocate Mr. Shah states that he would require some time to verify the computation. 2.In view of the fact that the respondents have immediately upon returnable date and immediately within two days thereafter have come with the cheque accepting whatever mistake or oversight due to which the amount could not be paid, I don’t propose to go into the computation at this stage. If the petitioner is aggrieved by the computation, he may file a civil suit keeping all the rights and contentions of both the sides open. 3.With the aforesaid direction, as the grievance of the petitioner is redressed, the present petition stands disposed of.
