This review petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking review of the judgment dated 23.02.2026 to the extent that this Court had directed to release the disability element of pension at 50% for life. 2. The submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner/applicant is that as the disability being 50%, the petitioner shall be entitled to rounding off of disability at 75%. 3. The learned counsel for the respondents has drawn our attention to the Circular No.17(01) /2017/D (Pen/Policy) dated 23.01.2018 issued by the Ministry of Defence, to contend that the ground on which the review is sought is justified and the petitioner shall be entitled to the rounding off of the disability at 75% for life. 4. If that be so, the judgment dated 23.02.2026 is reviewed and This is a digitally signed order. The RMB has determined the composite assessment for all disabilities at 50% for life. Accordingly, the respondents are directed to release disability element of pension at 75% for life, assessed compositely for the disability of Primary Hypertension and Coronary Artery Disease, Triple Vessel Disease (OPTD), to the petitioner as claimed by him from the date of discharge from the military service, along with arrears within a period of eight weeks from today. Failure to do so will make the respondents liable to pay interest at 12% p.a. till the date of payment.” 5. The review stands allowed in the above terms. 6. The Registry shall issue the copy of this order as well to the applying party as and when the certified copy of judgment dated 23.02.2026 is asked for. V.
