GP FOR SCHOOL EDUCATION (AP) The Court made the following: ORDER The above contempt case is filed complaining non-implementation of the order dated 30.07.2013 in W.P.No.23292 of 2013. 2. A batch of writ petitions were filed and disposed of by way of common order dated 30.07.2013, declaring the Memo No.12080/COSE/A2/2004-4, issued by the Principal Secretary to Government, School Education, dated 20.10.2004, as illegal and arbitrary. The Court directed the respondents to accord permission to the petitioners-Institutions to fill up vacant grant-in-aid posts in accordance with the Rules. 3. The petitioners, 8 in number, filed the above contempt case, complaining non-implementation of the order. 4. Today when the matter came up for hearing, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioners. 5. Sri Gurram Ramachandra Rao, learned counsel for the respondent submitted the written instructions of the District Educational Officer, Prakasam District, Ongole vide Lr.Rc.No.Spl/B1/2025, dated 19.03.2025. A perusal of the written instructions would indicate that in respect of the petitioners 1, 3 & 7 – Schools, permission was accorded to fill up the posts. In respect of 8th petitioner-School, the posts were already sanctioned and there are no vacant posts. In respect of petitioners, 2, 4 to 6 – Schools, those schools are closed. The said written instructions are made part of the record. 6. Given the written instructions supra, this Court does not find any violation of the order by the respondent. 7. Accordingly, the Contempt Case is Closed. No costs. As a sequel, pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. ___________________________ JUSTICE SUBBA REDDY SATTI PVD
