No.17/2018 vide Annexure-E. After negotiations, the parties have arrived at settlement. Accordingly, both the parties have filed a Joint Memo duly signed before the Lok Adalath. The said Joint Memo reads as follows: 3 The petitioner – Corporation agreed to reinstate the Respondent – workman into service with continuity of service for the purpose of payment of terminal benefits without consequential benefits without backwages from the date of dismissal till the date of reinstatementas per the interim order. Further, as a measure of punishment of three annual increments with cumulative effect be withheld. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of in terms of the Joint Memo modifying the portion of the Award dated 31.12.2018 passed by the Labour Court, Mysuru in Ref. No.17/2018 vide Annexure-E denying the back wages to the petitioner and directing the petitioner to settle the respondent's entitlement as agreed as expeditiously as possible but within an outer limit of four[4] months from today.
