Jyotsna Rewal Dua, Judge Notice. Mr. L.N. Sharma, Additional Advocate General, appears and waives service of notice on behalf of the respondents. With the consent of learned counsel for the parties, the matter is heard at this stage.

The petitioner had preferred Keshav Ram Ronta & Ors. vs. State of H.P. & Ors.1 seeking applicability of decision rendered in Ranjit Singh & Ors. vs. State of H.P. & Ors.2. The aforesaid writ petition was disposed of with directions to the respondents to consider and decide the representation of the petitioners.

The respondents rejected the petitioner’s representation vide office order dated 14.10.2024 (Annexure
1 CWP No.7726 of 2024 decided on 05.08.2024. 2 CWP No.2500 of 2021 decided on 07.07.2023 along with connected matters.

P-6). The petitioner, feeling aggrieved by the aforesaid order, has instituted the present writ petition.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner’s case is now squarely covered by decision rendered in Surya Prabha & Ors. vs. State of H.P. & Ors.3. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner would be content, if the case of the petitioner is considered by the respondents in light of the aforesaid judgment. Learned counsel for the respondents has no objection to this prayer.

In view of above, notwithstanding the office order dated 14.10.2024 (Annexure P-6), the respondents are
directed to consider the case of the petitioner afresh for grant of reliefs prayed for by him, in accordance with law, keeping in view the decision rendered in Surya Prabha3, within a period six weeks from today. The decision so taken be communicated to the petitioner.
The writ petition stands disposed of in the above terms. All pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, to also stand disposed of.
