Report submitted by the Officer- in-Charge, Islampur Police Station, Murshidabad Police District reflects that “during enquiry, it could be found that Murshidabad Patni Co-Operative Society Ltd. has already taken up the charge of Chatra Ferry Ghat on 19.04.2025 at 8:00 hrs with the strong assistance of Police Authority of Islampur Police Station. The copy of undertaken is attached herewith for kind perusal (Annexure: I)”. Since the grievance of the petitioner has been addressed, as police assistance has been rendered and the ferry ghat is being operated by the petitioner, 2 no further interference is called for in the present writ petition. Accordingly WPA No. 9305 of 2025 stands disposed of. Report so submitted be kept with the record. A copy of the report be handed over to the learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner.
