The captioned Writ Petition is filed seeking a Writ of Certiorari to quash the Notice issued by the Assistant Executive Engineer (Elec) - fourth respondent. 3. Counsel for the respective parties urged several contentions. Heard the arguments and perused the Writ papers with care. - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:25403 WP No. 8846 of 2025 4. Suffice it to note that the fourth respondent has communicated to the petitioner intimating certain facts and requested the petitioner to reply within seven days, failing which they would take necessary steps for disconnection of the power supply. The petitioner without submitting a reply, has invoked the Writ jurisdiction. Therefore, this Court deems it proper to direct the petitioner to reply to the communication. The BESCOM Authority is directed to consider the reply submitted by the petitioner in accordance with the law, within two weeks thereon. Till the consideration of the reply, the BESCOM Authority shall not precipitate the matter to disconnect the power supply. Needless to observe the petitioner shall pay the advance consumption charges as per Clause 12 of the Supply conditions. 5. Resultantly, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
