Mr. Sikander Bhushan, learned Deputy Advocate General, appears and waives service of notice on behalf of the respondent. 2. Petitioner is serving as Principal (College Cadre) in the respondent-Education Department. He is posted at Government College Haripurdhar, District Sirmour w.e.f. 09.10.2024. The aforesaid is stated to be a designated hard area. Petitioner’s case is that he had already served for a complete tenure in the hard area at Government College 1Whether reporters of print and electronic media may be allowed to see the order? Yes. 2 Seema, Rohru, District Shimla, therefore, he could not have been sent again to hard area. Apart from highlighting the above aspect, the fact that the petitioner is suffering from certain ailments as also that he has to travel five kilometers daily on foot to reach the aforesaid College at Haripurdhar, petitioner preferred a representation to the respondent on 28.06.2025 (Annexure P-2). Petitioner’s grievance is that the aforesaid representation has not been decided till date. 3. Looking to the limited grievance of the petitioner, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondent to consider and decide the aforesaid representation of the petitioner dated 28.06.2025 (Annexure P-2) in accordance with law and applicable transfer policy, within a period of three weeks from today. The decision so arrived at shall also be communicated to the petitioner. The writ petition stands disposed of in the above terms, so also the pending miscellaneous application(s), if any.
