This bail application has been filed on behalf of Akash Kumar Barnwal who is in custody since 13.10.2025 in connection with Katras P.S. Case No. 362 of 2025 for the offence registered under Sections 61(2), 111(3) and 111(4) of the BNS, 2023 pending in the Court of learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Dhanbad, is pressed into motion. It is submitted by the learned senior counsel on behalf of petitioner that no principal offence is stated in the FIR and he has been roped into the case only on the ground of suspicion that he was engaged with the Prince Khan gang. Petitioner has no criminal antecedent. The only allegation against is that petitioner and other co-accused Ritik Kumar Vishwakarma deposited Rs.31,500/- in the account of Aman Kumar Gupta and other accused persons. It is also submitted that other co-accused persons namely Ritik Kumar Vishwakarma @ Luccha and Pawan Kumar Singh have already been granted bail from this Court. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposed the prayer for bail. Under the circumstances, the above-named petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/-(Twenty-Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Court below.
