DSO Tonk expeditiously. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the District Supply Officer, Tonk has cancelled his authorization letter for running the fair price shop vide order dated 10.10.2023 and the statutory appeal preferred thereagainst by him is pending consideration since April, 2024. He submits that pendency of the aforesaid appeal is causing great mental agony and hardship to him. He, therefore, prays that the District Collector, Tonk be directed to decide the aforesaid appeal expeditiously. Heard. Considered. [2025:RJ-JP:1926] (2 of 2) [CW-420/2025] Taking into consideration the limited prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is disposed of in following terms without issuing notice to the respondent to obviate further delay: The District Collector, Tonk is directed to expedite hearing and disposal of the Appeal (DSO) No.54/2024 filed by the petitioner against order dated 10.10.2023 passed by District Supply Officer, Tonk preferably within a period of two months from the date of communication of this order.
