By the present writ petition, the petitioner, who has applied for post of Sub Engineer through Departmental Limited Competitive Examination is seeking direction towards the respondents to consider the candidature of the JYOTI SHARMA Digitally signed by JYOTI SHARMA Date: 2025.05.09 11:24:54 +0530 2 petitioner for appointment in the post of Sub Engineer by granting him additional 10 % marks to the petitioner in accordance with the circular dated 07.04.1971. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has completed 8 years of service and he is entitled for 10% marks in accordance with the circular dated 07.04.1971. He further submits that he has filed a representation raising his grievance before respondent No. 2 dated 21.02.2024 (Annexure P-7) and the same is still pending. 3. Learned State counsel submits that as the petitioner is seeking limited direction for decision on the representation, if the same is pending, it will be considered in accordance with law within 50 days. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the documents. 5. In view of the submission made by learned State counsel, the writ petition is disposed off with the direction to the respondent No. 2 to decide the pending representation dated 21.02.2024, within a period of 50 days, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, in accordance with law. 6.
