JUSTICE MANASH RANJAN PATHAK ORDER 09.01.2025 Heard Mr. Ditul Das, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. K K Parashar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam for the State. 2) By this application filed under Section 483 BNSS, 2023, the petitioner, namely, Hirak Jyoti Deka, Son of Pramod Chandra Deka, resident of village Belbari, Police Station- Sarthebari, District-Barpeta, is praying for his bail in Sarthebari Police Station Case No. Page No.# 2/2 124/2024, registered under Sections 20(b)(ii)(c)/29 of the NDPS Act, 1985, wherein, he was arrested on 13.09.2024 and is in custody since then. 3) During the deliberation of the matter, Mr. K K Parashar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam, on instruction, submitted that police after completion of investigation of the case has already submitted charge-sheet in said Sarthebari P.S. Case No. 124/2024 on 31.12.2024 vide charge-sheet No. 149/2024. 4) As such, the petitioner, named above, is directed to approach the appropriate forum for his regular bail in said Sarthebari P.S.
